About
Join GEO and help solve global challenges through Earth intelligence. GEO unites governments, international organisations, research institutions, businesses, and civil society in a collaborative platform to build a more sustainable and resilient future. Be a part of a diverse network working across sectors to tackle complex issues with coordinated, impactful solutions.
GEO supports more than 100 UN Member States to advance access to open Earth observations. GEO offers all countries the opportunity to benefit from collective knowledge, expertise and skills to develop national Earth observations programmes.
Joining GEO offers member governments the opportunity to ensure that their national and regional interests are represented on a global platform. By aligning Earth observation investments with national priorities, governments can influence technical and policy decisions while contributing to the GEO Work Programme.
Participation in GEO’s Plenary, Executive Committee, and Programme Board allows members to shape GEO’s overall direction and benefit from the expertise of a global Earth observation community.
