From observations to action: Reflections from the GEO-REAP session at Humanitarian Networks and Partnerships Weeks

The GEO Youth Community of Practice (GEO-YOUTH) empowers young people with the skills, knowledge and representation they need to create the future they want.
GEO-YOUTH is an initiative by and for young people that advances youth capacity building, engagement and innovation across GEO and the GEO Work Programme.
There is significant, untapped potential for GEO and young people to meaningfully engage with one another and advance Earth Intelligence for All. GEO-YOUTH is a key step to realise this potential and advance Goal 4 of GEO’s Post-2025 Strategy.
By joining GEO-YOUTH, young people gain access to a global network of young Earth observations professionals, online opportunities and youth programmes.
GEO-YOUTH will develop initiatives that promote youth engagement, empowerment and contributions to GEO’s mission. Specific objectives include:
GEO-YOUTH is currently finalising its Terms of Reference and a Work Plan.

GEO-YOUTH is launching the GEO Youth Blog Series: a new initiative dedicated to amplifying youth voices, perspectives and contributions across the Earth Observation community.
The series aims to highlight how young professionals are engaging with Earth Observation to support decision-making, innovation and action at local, national and global levels.
Through personal reflections, project insights and lessons learned, the GEO Youth Blog Series will provide a space for youth to share experiences from across disciplines and regions, contributing to a more inclusive and connected Earth Intelligence ecosystem. See the guidelines below and submit your blog post!
