Amin Shakya is a PhD Candidate at the ITC Faculty of Geo-information Science and Earth Observation, University of Twente, the Netherlands. Amin is researching the application of earth observation data to monitor the world’s river discharge. Amin has a double master's degree in Water Science and Engineering from IHE Delft, the Netherlands and TU Dresden, Germany.
