Madeeha Bajwa is Chief, Work Programme Coordinator at the Group on Earth Observations (GEO) Secretariat, where she leads the coordination of the GEO Work Programme - a portfolio of initiatives translating Earth Intelligence into action on climate, biodiversity, disaster risk reduction, and urban resilience. Over nearly 20 years in the United Nations system, spanning postings in Islamabad, Kabul, Vienna, and Geneva, she has built programmes and partnerships that connect data and science to real-world policy and investment decisions. She holds an MA in Global Governance and Social Theory from University of Bremen and a BSc Honours in Social Sciences from Lahore University of Management Sciences.
