Biography

Alexandrine Massot is a Scientific Project Officer at the Mountain Research Initiative Coordination Office, where she supports the coordination and implementation of GEO Mountains to improve availability and accessibility of data in mountain environments. She joined the Secretariat in 2023 after completing a Master’s in Environmental Sciences and a Certificate in Geomatics at the University of Geneva. She leads multi‑institutional task groups and projects, develops interoperable data products and visualisations, and works to strengthen capacity‑building and youth‑targeted materials to inform monitoring and policy for mountain regions.
