Mpho Sadiki

Mpho Sadiki is an Earth Observation Data Scientist at Digital Earth Africa, where she develops and applies satellite based datasets to support evidence based decision making across the African continent. Her work focuses on producing analysis ready data, building scalable geospatial workflows, and advancing the operational use of Earth observation information for environmental monitoring.

She previously worked as a Knowledge Transfer Partnership Associate at the University of Johannesburg, where she applied Earth observation and data science methods to analyse crop spectral signatures for maize identification and yield estimation.

Mpho holds a Masters degree in Geoinformatics from the University of Pretoria and is currently completing her PhD, which focuses on advancing wetland remote sensing and biodiversity related mapping across Africa.
