The 8th AOGEO Workshop will bring together Earth observation experts from across the Asia-Oceania region to advance Earth Intelligence applications under the GEO Post-2025 Strategy, with sessions covering agriculture and food security, ecosystems and biodiversity, and water and land use sustainability.

Held alongside the 2026 GEO AO Caucus Meeting and the Zhongguancun Forum on Innovation and Development, the workshop will spotlight regional cooperation through the GEO Work Programme, including AOGEO's three Integrated Priority Studies pilot sites in the Mekong River Basin, the Pacific Islands and the Himalaya Mountains.
