Xiaosong Li

Biography

Li Xiaosong is a Professor at the International Research Center of Big Data for Sustainable Development Goals. His research focuses on remote sensing, big data for SDG 15, and dryland ecosystems, including land degradation monitoring and ecological restoration. He earned a PhD in forest remote sensing from the Chinese Academy of Forestry and has been with the Institute of Remote Sensing and Digital Earth since 2008. He has also contributed to UNEP and UNCCD initiatives.
