Dr. Xiang Gao is the Director-General of China Science and Technology Exchange Center (CSTEC, Ministry of Science and Technology of China) since April 2021. Dr. Gao has been GEO China Principal Alternate and the Director of China GEO Secretariat since 2024. Prior to the appointment as Director-General of CSTEC, Dr. Gao worked in succession at the State Pharmaceutical Administration, the State Drug Administration, the State Food and Drug Administration, the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs and the Ministry of Science and Technology of China.
