2024 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP29)

The policy brief published by GEO and the Technology Executive Committee (TEC) (TEC) of the of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) will be launched at COP29 on 11 November.

Titled “Realising Early Warnings for All: Innovation and Technology in Support of Risk-Informed Climate Resilience Policy and Action”, the policy brief highlights 21 use cases of scalable technology solutions, with nine of them coming from GEO Work Programme activities and seven showcasing the efforts of GEO Participating Organisations.
