Participants are strongly advised to arrange their own hotel booking as soon as possible. Below are names of hotels located in walking distance of the meeting venue:

There are many other hotel options in Geneva. It is very easy to travel by bus and tram from most hotels to the meeting venue within 10-25 minutes.

All hotels issue a free (electronic) bus pass to registered hotel guests. You will receive the bus pass at the time of check-in to your hotel or sometimes even before you check-in. With the pass, you can avail free transport on any bus, train, and boat on any line within Geneva. Connections are frequent and very efficient.

Lunch and coffee breaks will be provided by the meeting organizers.

Please consult and complete the travel checklist for entry into Switzerland which will advise on what requirements are needed with regard to visa and health requirements prior to entry into Switzerland.

A copy of your invitation letter may be attached to visa requests in order to facilitate issuance.

Invited participants are responsible for their own travel-medical insurance coverage for the entire period of their travel and participation. Medical coverage will not be provided by the GEO Secretariat.
