Session 7: Private Sector, VHR & Cloud Providers
Objectives
In this session, contributions from commercial sector companies to the global efforts of open knowledge will be highlighted.
Since 2019, GEO has opened up its membership to commercial sector companies with the "Associate" category, which also encompasses non-governmental, not-for-profit and civil society organizations.
This session will provide the opportunity to discuss their role in the path to open knowledge, understand how they are contributing and how to overcome barriers.
