The development of the GEO Post-2025 Strategy is expected to have reached an advanced stage by the time of the Symposium. It is therefore timely for the attendees to assess the relationship of the new strategy to the GEO Work Programme.  

This dialogue will unpack the issues of “equity” and “Earth intelligence” as they are presented in the Post-2025 Strategy. Starting with a panel discussion, participants are invited to discuss ways to promote equity in Earth observation, and how their work can drive greater equity in open access to and use of Earth observations They will discuss factors that would lead to more equity in Earth observation that are not yet in the strategy.
