Community Event Session 1: Youth as Agents of Change for a Skilled Workforce in the EO Sector

Objectives

Earth Observation requires a highly skilled workforce on different levels. Technical, managerial, academic and/or entrepreneurial skills need to be well balanced in current and future professionals’ profiles. The SPACE4GEO Large-scale Skills Partnership, part of the EC initiative Pact for Skills, promotes activities aimed to up-skill and re-skill the work force and attract new talents to careers in the downstream space and geoinformation sector. By fostering collaboration among stakeholders, SPACE4GEO aims to build a dynamic skills ecosystem that responds to the demands of a rapidly evolving market.
