Guifei Jing

Prof. Jing has been responsible for China’s participation of the creation of GEO in 2003 when he works for the Ministry of Science and Technology of China. He then participated in the system design of the Global Earth Observation System of Systems, and lead the development of China's GEO data sharing platform from 2005 to 2011. In particular, he was specifically responsible for the organization of the 2010 GEO Ministerial Summit in Beijing, and the preparation of the Beijing Declaration. He is one of the key members for the preparation of a memorandum signed by the GEO Secretary and the Ministry of Science and Technology.

He is leading efforts in Beihang university in developing the theories and methods in trustworthy remote sensing.
