John Martin Owor

John Martin Owor is the Commissioner in the Department of Relief, Disaster Preparedness and Management of the Uganda Office of the Prime Minister, Uganda. Mr Owor is partnering with NASA Harvest in Uganda to utilize remote sensing information systems for monitoring and early warning. His office coordinates the Disaster Relief Program in Karamoja, Uganda, a leading example of NASA’s Earth Observations data supporting a national program that benefits communities faced with recurring drought.
