Frédéric Huynh

Frédéric Huynh, is director of the Data Terra Research Infrastructure since 2017, senior Research Engineer at IRD (French Institute of Research for sustainable Development). He was Director and Representative of IRD in Brasil (2012-2016), Research joint Unit ESPACE-DEV and US ESPACE (2000-2012) director during twelve years and co-coordinator of the Remote Sensing Centre (Maison de la Télédétection) in Montpellier. Expert in Earth Observations, environmental decision support system, management of environmental projects and information system using spatial and in-situ data, he has an important experience in managing  national, European and international projects. He has more than 100 references (publications, books, …) and was coordinator or project director of more than 50 national (ANR, …), European (H2020, FED, FEDER, Horizon Europe…) and international projects.
