Dr Marie-Fanny Racault is a Research Fellow at the University of East Anglia (UEA, Norwich UK) and Honorary Fellow at the Plymouth Marine Laboratory (PML, UK). Her background is in biological oceanography. She has key expertise in studying Climate impacts on marine ecosystems and the ocean carbon cycle, and in developing Earth Observations applications for human health. She supports national and international research and policy developments; Dr Racault is Lead author for the IPCC AR6 WGII Chapter on Ocean and Coastal Ecosystems and WGII Summary for Policy Makers; she is the UK representative of the GEO Climate Change Working Group; and co-lead of the GEO Blue Planet Working Group on Earth observations for water-related diseases.
