Mariasilvia Giamberini

Mariasilvia Giamberini holds an M.S. in Chemistry and an M.S. in Environmental Management and she gained more than 15 years of professional experience in environmental engineering companies, where she has been technical director of many applied research projects in the fields of water resources and environmental monitoring. She joined the National Research Council of Italy (CNR) in 2011, and since 2015 she moved her research interests towards the impacts of climate change on natural ecosystems and carbon cycle. She contributes to the “GEO Global Ecosystems Initiative” (GEO ECO) and to EuroGEO through the H2020 projects ECOPOTENTIAL and e-shape.
