Alena Rybkina

Alena Rybkina, vice president of CODATA. She is deputy director of the Geophysical Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences (GC RAS). Mainly engaged in the research of scientific data in the field of Earth sciences, as well as development of new visualization technics, promotion of open and FAIR data principals, research of scientific data curation and sharing, data-intensive computing and applications. She is leading laboratory of innovation technologies in GC RAS aimed in the development of a new hardware and software for Earth data visualization. She is co-chair of the GEO Data Working group and DDE Standards Task Group.
