Yousef Torman

For around thirty years, I worked in ICT at highly reputable institutions in the higher education and scientific research sector. During my work, my main focus was to make use of technology, mainly ICT, for the developments and enhancing the life of people in my community and beyond through better use of new technologies in education and scientific research.

I worked as a Director for the Computer Center at Jordan University of Science and Technology then he established worked as Executive Director of the Jordanian Universities Network (the official National Research and Education Network of Jordan). Since 2011 until now, I am working as the Managing Director of the Arab States Research and Education Network (ASREN) that works on establishing the pan Arab Dedicated research and education infrastructure network.
