Humbulani Mudau has more than 20 years technical and management experience in space science and technology specifically in earth observation systems, remote sensing applications and geospatial technologies coupled with extensive knowledge in the development of policies, strategies and implementing programmes in those areas. Mr Mudau holds a Master’s degree in Satellite Remote Sensing from the University of Paris VI (Pierre & Marie CURIE), France. He has worked for the Chamber of Mines of South Africa, Agricultural Research Council, Council for Scientific and Industrial Research, Group on Earth Observations, and currently the Chief Director for Space Science and Technology at the Department Science and Innovation.
