Lulu Makapela

Lulu Makapela holds the position of Strategic Initiatives Implementation Contracts Manager and also responsible for the National Earth Observations and Space Secretariat (NEOSS), an initiative of the Department of Science and Innovation (DSI), that is hosted and managed by the CSIR.

Lulu is an accomplished legal professional with over 20-years of experience in leading and contributing to the development and implementation of legislation, policy and strategies to influence the good execution of science, technology and innovation programs through coordination and development of capacity building support programmes in South Africa and across the Africa continent.
