Pedro Gonçalves is Terradue director, a company he co-founded in 2006 as a spinoff of the European Space Agency following his post-doctoral and research fellowships designing the Grid infrastructure for Earth Observation.
At Terradue, he is now leading the Strategy and International Relations, supporting international organizations, research institutes and commercial companies in deploying their Earth Observation services into Cloud platforms tapping new computational and data resources.
With a long experience participating in several European Commission and European Space Agency projects, Terradue is a leading Earth Science Cloud Services provider with current developments focusing on empowering researchers in curating and delivering scientific information while creating Cloud marketplaces for environmental data analytics.
Pedro is also an active member of the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) promoting the interoperability of Earth Observation discovery and processing services.
