Fernando Belda-Esplugues

Dr Belda holds a Ph.D degree in Physics from University of Valencia (1997) and Master in Public Direction (2013) by National Institute of Public Administration. His PhD thesis and research activities has been focused on aspects related to Remote Sensing and climatology, Forest Fire monitoring, Vegetation assessment and impact of Climate condition. From 2020 I am Senior Adviser to the President of AEMET leading projects and activities related to Copernicus, European Union, GEO and Health.

Fernando is Deputy Co-Chair of GEO DRR Working Group, supporting subgroup 1.
