Weihua Xu

Xu Weihua currently serves as deputy mayor of Hangzhou Municipal People’s Government of Zhejiang Province. In 1994, he studied at Nanjing University and later pursued his PhD in Engineering at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology where he graduated in 2000. He has held several key positions, including Deputy Director of the General Office of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Party Secretary of the Institute of Genetics and Developmental Biology at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and director-in-charge of the Information Technology Command Center for the Hangzhou Asian Games.
