Yunpeng Wang

Wang Yunpeng, President of Beihang University, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, expert in intelligent road transportation. Professor Wang is mainly engaged in the research on intelligent road transportation systems, and pioneered the frontier development direction of cooperative vehicle infrastructure systems. He has made fundamental and groundbreaking contributions in areas of driving safety monitoring, road network coordinated control and road-vehicle integrated control. He has reached multiple important achievements in engineering applications, and made important contributions to the development of intelligent vehicle infrastructure cooperation technology in China. Over the years, Professor Wang has been actively involved in fostering talent and higher education management, nurturing over a hundred graduate students, many of whom have emerged as leading figures and managerial talents in the transportation industry.
