Amber Kremer is an international programs specialist with a strong background in geospatial science, environmental policy, and stakeholder engagement.
Amber's expertise spans program management, technical communication, data visualization, and strategic engagement, particularly in the Americas. Her leadership within AmeriGEO and the U.S. Geological Survey involved coordinating multinational initiatives, organizing high-level international conferences, and supporting climate adaptation and disaster risk reduction efforts across the Latin American region.
She played a key role in launching GEOPathways Latin America, a professional development program for emerging geospatial scientists. Amber holds a Master’s in Natural Resources and a Graduate Certificate in Geographic Information Science from Oregon State University, where she also contributed to remote sensing research in collaboration with NASA SERVIR-Mekong. Her career journey has also included roles in scientific communication, conservation, and expedition leadership, working with organizations such as Disney and the Latin American Foundation for the Future.
