Alexandre Brecher

Alexandre joined the GEO Secretariat in May 2024 as a Strategic Communications Officer. Bringing over 16 years of experience in communication and advocacy, he started his international career at the United Nations in 2009. His journey has taken him through Africa, the Middle East, and Europe, where he honed his expertise in designing and executing communication strategies for organizations and projects that bring together the UN, civil society, governments, and the private sector. Alexandre advocates for a human-focused storytelling, aiming to infuse projects with emotion to forge meaningful connections with diverse audiences and inspire change. Additionally, he is a passionate filmmaker and a university guest lecturer.
