Illaria DiMatteo

Chief, Environmental Economic Accounts Section, Environment Statistics and Geospatial Information Branch, United Nations Statistics Division (UNSD)

She is currently responsible for the programme on environmental economic accounts in UNSD. She joined the United Nations Statistics Division in 2000. Prior to joining the Environmental Economic Accounts Section, she was responsible for the programme on business statistics and classifications for several years. 

She is originally from Rome, Italy, and she holds a PhD in Statistics from Carnegie Mellon University, and a PhD in Methodological Statistics from the University of Rome “La Sapienza”.
