Raphaël Jolivet is a research engineer working at the O.I.E (Observations, Impacts, Energy) center of Mines Paris - PSL in Sophia Antipolis, France. He develops open source tools and interfaces supporting the research activities of the O.I.E center - namely the evaluation of renewable resources from satellite images and the assessment of environmental impacts of energy systems. In particular, he joined the team's efforts to promote best practices in data standardization and sharing, following the F.A.I.R. principles. He developed the open source library "libinsitu" to encode heterogeneous in situ solar irradiance measurements into standardized NetCDF data.
