Razvan has a background in Earth Sciences and has been working in the Earth observation domain for the past 10 years. He joined ESA in 2013 as a Young Graduate Trainee working in the Long Term Data Preservation programme. He then continued his career in industry, working in RHEA System on various ESA projects, regarding the processing, consolidation, archiving and dissemination of EO satellite imagery. Razvan rejoined ESA in 2019 working as Copernicus Ground Segment Engineer where he contributed to the Copernicus Space Component (CSC) Ground Segment (GS) transformation and data management operations, focusing on the data access and dissemination activities. Razvan is currently managing several ESA CSC GS service operations contracts in this domain, and he is coordinating the Copernicus Data Space Ecosystem (CDSE) service phase-in.
