Anca Anghelea

Dr. Anca Anghelea is an Earth Observation scientist at the European Space Agency, in the Department of Science, Applications and Climate of ESA EOP. Her work focuses on Open Science and Digital Innovation for Earth System Science. She is leading several activities on technology enabled scientific exploitation of Earth Observation data for land applications, and Reproducible Open Science in the cloud. Before joining ESA, Anca was an R&D Project Officer with the European Union Satellite Centre, where she worked to advance the use of Open EO Data for geo-intelligence applications. Anca has a PhD in stochastic Synthetic Aperture Radar image analysis and EO image information mining.
