Jean-Philippe Aurambout is a scientist with a background as an agronomy engineer from Nancy, France and he has a MSc and PhD in Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (USA). His research expertise focused on the modeling of complex spatio-dynamic systems to facilitate decision-making. He currently works as an Expert in Geospatial Data Management for the European Environmental Agency (EEA). Prior o joining the EEA, Jean-Philippe worked for 9 years as a Scientific Officer as part of the Territorial Development Unit at the European Commission, Joint Research Centre and for 8 years as a senior research scientist for the Department of Primary Industries in Victoria, Australia.
