Laurine Duivon holds a master's degree from the Institut d'urbanisme de Lyon (France) in Urban Planning and Development with a specialization in management and design, in addition, she holds a degree in Fine Arts (France/Romania). For nearly 2 years, she has been an urban planner at URBASOFIA in Bucharest (Romania). Urbasofia provides expertise in urban and regional planning and has been collaborating for 10 years with several cities in the EU, with the aim of helping them meet their urban challenges. Urbasofia mainly focuses on urban regeneration, urban policy and challenges related to urban communities-related challenges with regard to methodologies, tools and stakeholder engagement. Laurine combines her analytical approach and her creativity with a deep sensitivity to urban and societal challenges. Her main concerns are nature-based solutions, participatory tools as well as the capitalization of cultural and industrial heritage as circular approaches for urban regeneration processes, through innovative solutions and principles.
