Joshua Delmonico

Mr. Joshua Delmonico is the Acting Executive Director of the Federal Geographic Data Committee (FGDC) Office of the Secretariat (OS). In this role he provides executive leadership for the coordination of U.S. federal geospatial activities between, among, and within federal agencies. The FGDC is responsible for strategic planning for the U.S. National Spatial Data Infrastructure, working with Federal agencies, State, Tribal, Local, Academia and our private sector partners to ensure geospatial data from multiple sources is available and easily integrated to enhance the understanding of the physical and cultural world.

Previously he served in various positions leading Geospatial programs for the Department of Defense. His portfolio included architecture, engineering, standards, test and certification, enterprise system development, modeling and simulation, 3D, AR/VR, artificial intelligence, and research in support of mission readiness, training, and planning.
