Samantha Musinzi

Samantha Musinzi is currently the Technical Support Assistant, for the AfriGEO Secretariat hosted by Regional Centre for Mapping of Resources for Development (RCMRD)

She has background in BScs Environmental Conservation and Natural Resource Management from the University of Nairobi and advance training in GIS and Remote Sensing Application for natural resource management from RCMRD.

Previously engaged as GIS assistant at Kenya Marine and fisheries research institute, KMFRI. Where she participated in field data collection and GIS activities for Kenya Coastal Development Project. She has also participated in research sea going expedition in particular the Territorial Seas and North Kenya Banks Fisheries Hydro Acoustics Survey.

She has also contributed as technical assistant in data collection and mapping activities for various projects at RCMRD that include FAO Global Forest Assessment Training and validation workshop for Eastern and Southern Africa.
