Christiana Photiadou

Christiana Photiadou, Ph.D., is a climate scientist with 10 years of experience in climate change impacts and climate services. As a Climate Change Impact and Adaptation Expert at the European Environment Agency is responsible for projects related to climate change hazards, impacts, risks and vulnerability and adaptation indicators. As a former senior researcher at the Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute she oversaw the development of climate services with regards to full spectrum of production and evaluation of climate information. She holds a Ph.D from Utrecht University on detection, and propagation of hydrometeorological extremes under climate change.
