Dr Suhaib Bin Farhan is a climate scientist at Pakistan Space & Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO). He specializes in utilizing space science & technology to support informed decision-making in climate change impact assessment, water resource management, hazard risk assessment and disaster management. He is currently involved in a research project to monitor sea water intrusion, coastal erosion, land subsidence and mangrove forests along the coast of Pakistan.
He received PhD degree in physical geography from University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. He authored several research publications, technical reports and articles. He also appeared as a key speaker at many international conferences, seminars and workshops.
