Kol Vathana

H.E. Mr. Kol Vathana, a Cambodian National, has been working for several famous organizations, government sector ministries, and institution that works with intergovernmental technical organizations like Cambodia National Mekong Committee (CNMC). He has been working in CNMC since 2003. His current role in in the CNMC is Deputy Secretary General. H.E. Mr. Vathana facilitates collaboration, assistance and support to any development initiative from his scope of work. His key experienced areas are environmental management, protected area management, natural resources management and conservation; law enforcements, water & water related resources managements; integrated water resources management (IWRM) & integrated river basin management (IRBM); climate change; and trans-boundary water management & negotiation etc. 

H.E. Mr. Vathana studied on Forestry Science from the Royal University of Agriculture, Cambodia and Soil Science (Soil Fertility and Ecopedology) from the ITC, the University of Gent, Belgium.
