Johan Naranjo

Johan Naranjo is a Geographical and Environmental Engineer of the Subdirectorate for Risk Knowledge of the National Unit for Disaster Risk Management of Colombia (UNGRD). His main role is in the analysis of geospatial information for different natural phenomena and how to support risk reduction strategies and response to emergencies and disasters.

He has worked in the public and private sector of the country in the environmental area and disaster risk management, investigating phenomena at the local level and supporting the analysis of affectation in emergencies with remote sensors and damage assessment to provide a coherent and strategic response.
