Onoriode Esegbue

Dr Onoriode Esegbue currently work with the United Kingdom Department for Business Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) as the Science Lead in the Greenhouse Gas Inventory (GHG) Team, where he oversees inventory improvement projects based on his diverse scientific and research experience. Onoriode is particularly interested in how we can use EO to monitor climate change, verify GHG emissions reporting, climate adaptation and mitigation.

Onoriode has a PhD in Geochemistry (Newcastle University) and multiple Postdoctoral fellowships (Heriot Watt University). He left Newcastle University to join BEIS, where he previously worked as an analytical geochemist.
