Alexis Foussard

Alexis is Earth Observation policy officer at the French Ministry in charge of the Environment. His unit supports the uptake of EO-based services by public institutions, and he is appointed for France to various Copernicus-related bodies and working groups. He was previously deputy head of the National Statistics unit in charge of energy consumption, supporting the NIR compilation. He studied climate science and remote sensing, and holds a PhD in atmospheric dynamics and air-sea interactions.
