Sitraka Ranoeliarivao

Sitraka Ranoeliarivao works as the head of Information Collecting and Processing Unit of the National Office for Risk and Disaster Management (BNGRC) in Madagascar. With a Diploma of Advanced Studies in Geophysics and Remote Sensing, Sitraka has dedicated his career to leveraging remote sensing techniques to assess and mitigate the impacts of disasters. His work has particularly emphasized cyclones, storms, floods and landslides, where he has made significant contributions to early warning systems and disaster response strategies.

Sitraka is a member of GEO DRR Working Group, supporting subgroup 2
