Luigi Piccardi

Dr Luigi Piccardi is Researcher at Italian National Research Council. He received his Ph.D in “Tectonics and Structural Geology''. His scientific activities have been structural geology, geodynamics and active tectonics, seismotectonics and earthquake geology, quantitative tectonic geomorphology, and relationships between active tectonics and fluid circulation. He has focused on analysis and characterization of seismogenic structures, quantification of tectonic deformation, paleoseismology, archeoseismology, historical seismology.
