Prodromos Zanis is Professor at the Department of Meteorology and Climatology, School of Geology, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH). He has more than 20 years of experience on basic and applied research on atmospheric physics and chemistry with emphasis on ozone, aerosols, air pollution, chemistry-climate interactions, regional climate change, air quality and regional climate modelling. He has 92 publications in peer-reviewed scientific international journals with more than 2500 third-party citations and an H-factor of 32. He is currently Lead Author in chapter 6 of WGI AR6 of IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change).
