Lucia Perugini

Lucia Perugini is a senior scientific manager at the Euro-Mediterranean Centre on Climate Change (CMCC) Foundation. She is currently GEO Programme Board alternate representative for Italy and Co-chair of the GEO Climate Change Working Group. Her scientific background is in forestry and climate change and, since 2003, she is involved in the UNFCCC negotiations, providing technical and scientific support to the Italian Delegation on issues related to land related issues (agriculture, LULUCF and REDD ). Expert in GHG inventories in the land sector, she collaborates in the compilation of the Italian National Inventory Report. Lucia is active in several national and European research projects related to the carbon cycle in forestry and agriculture ecosystems and relevant links between the scientific and policy communities.
