Connecting the dots: Bringing together scientists, policymakers and practitioners to better implement biodiversity indicators

Summary:

This event will assess the perspectives of different groups of participants to facilitate the effectiveness, reproducibility, and practical application of biodiversity indicators through BON in a Box, ensuring the tool effectively processes scientific knowledge to support informed decision-making.

It will identify and categorise the priorities of different groups of participants regarding the communication of biodiversity indicators, collect and analyze the practical needs of participants to develop actionable recommendations, propose initial methods to ensure the reproducibility of selected workflows, determine how biodiversity indicators can be practically applied from the perspectives of the participants, and collect and integrate feedback from participants to refine GEO BON and BON in a Box practices.
