Community Event - GEO Infrastructure and AI (ODOK Session)

Description

This session explores how artificial intelligence can enhance data discovery, knowledge generation, and responsible use within the GEO ecosystem. It will present emerging AI-driven tools and applications—such as LLM-powered knowledge hubs, EO-focused GPT solutions, and intelligent metadata creation—demonstrating how they improve access to and usability of Earth observation data. The session will also highlight connections with broader AI4EO initiatives and discuss the development of an inclusive, AI-enabled ecosystem. In parallel, it will address critical considerations around data accountability and liability, aiming to balance innovation with trust and responsible data governance.
