Currently serving as Regional GEO Liaison Officer at the GEO Secretariat, he is a geospatial scientist and policy expert with extensive international experience in Earth observation, climate resilience, sustainable land management, and environmental governance. His previous roles include senior technical and advisory positions at the European Commission JRC, FAO, UNCCD, UNSDSN, and the Turkish Ministry of Agriculture, where he contributed to initiatives related to Earth Intelligence, land degradation neutrality, food systems, and climate adaptation. He has broad expertise in bridging science, policy, and international cooperation to support sustainable development. and evidence-based decision-making.
